Hello @steve970, Welcome to Connect. Sorry the vaccine caused the numbness in the feet. I also have neuropathy with numbness in the feet and can relate. You are right, disappointment wouldn't describe how I would feel either. If you are also have pain with the numbness in the feet, you might want to take a look at some of the complementary and alternative treatments on the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Complementary-and-Alternative-Treatments-Revised-2020-final.-1.pdf.
Did you file an adverse vaccine report on VAERS? - https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html
Hi Steve. I have suffered from some sort of neurological and possibly circulation issues for 50 years and I've been to one medical doc after another with no diagnosis. The symptoms are burning feet alternating with cold, and extreme neuralgia down one side or the other that incapacitates me for up to 4 days at a time. Western medical doctors are untrained or have very limited training and understanding of the human body (in my opinion). I left the medical profession and went to chinese medicine, functional medicine and naturapathy which has (finally) helped by identifying root causes (pleural). The problem is the expense of going down this path, and then paying out of pocket for treatment (IV Ozone, IV lipoic acid, and other IV vitamin and mineral bags). I've had bad reactions to vaccines in the past, all related to triggering nerve pain throughout my body. I live in fear of getting gillam barre syndrome from any or all vaccines, as this is always listed as a possible but rare side effect of vaccines by pharm companies. If you don't know about this, its because your pharmacist or GP didn't tell you. In any case, if you can, move into naturapathy and chinese medicine. You will have some success - but stay away from vaccines even though there is a risk. Its a balancing act between side effects of the vaccines (which you suffer from) vs getting what the vaccines are supposed to prevent (like covid). I'm not an anti-vaxer, but like you my pain is too severe to want to put myself into this position of taking vaccines again. Look to naturapathy, and IV lipoic acid. This is my layman's experienced advice.
Yes no one is going to admit a vaccine for anything is going to harm. In the end nothing can prove it. It is what it is. I do wish I had not worried about getting shingles though. I may have lived a better life than being stuck with PN
