Husband, 71, given one year at best...
He went through hormone therapy, chemo, radiation and Enzalutamide and now there's a small chance of temporary improvement with new chemo and radiation. God helps us all🙏🙏🙏

That’s a very sad diagnosis! Please encourage him to keep fighting! There’s always hope! When was he first diagnosed and is he currently seeing an oncologist?
Where is the cancer? What is PSA
I had L2 radiated then Zolodex, then on Xtandi with Xgeva
They SAY IF AFTER 2 YEARS IT STOPS WORKING THEN OTHER DRUGS APALUTIMIDE OR PL171

One of the men that I greatly admire is Michael Milken (he is very very successful and charitable and is my age). 25 years ago he was given 2 years at the most. He is still going strong. He is the exception, but exceptions do happen and it could happen to you and me and others. Good luck to you!
Thank you all for replying!!
As crazy as it may sound PSA went down a tiny bit of its own "volition"... but of course oncologist, excellent woman doctor, wants everything possible... new, different chemo, radiation so we'll se what happens. PSA is down from 74.8 to 66 which is of course irrelevant as this curse spread to the spine and broke vertebrae of lower back. We're at the hospital waiting for the CT staff since this morning to have him checked🪻🙏
Trajectories, we, Prostate Cancer people, all have them. After discovering mine, I nosedived into a grand emotional funk for a year. Then, out of my misery ruble, I found how focused TQL (Total Quality of Life) habits can improve your life's trajectory.

Look into XGeva and calcium Stay on Xtandi and add Zolodex if not already
Thank you Melcanada,
Oncologist said to stop taking enzalutamide as it wasn't doing anything good for my husband... PSA almost doubled during that time.
Thank you Proftom2,
Monday we're back again at the halls of - health??? A simulation is due to start new radiotherapy sessions and then back to the onco ward in preparation for a new biopsy on Tuesday... there are always patients who spoil the doctors' statistics... we can only HOPE and PRAY for a miracle and my husband will be one of the lucky few🙏🙏🙏
I know a guy running a forum for this curse... He'd been diagnosed 24 years ago!!! with a PSA of 600, mets in bones, etc. etc. and he's doing just great🙏
Wow who is he? Which chat! That is hope for all of us!
