Please let me know if it helps and we can tell others. It took years before a doctor recommended it. I would encourage you to insist that your doctor try it by giving you a couple of injections. It has no known side effects and it's okay to have excessive amounts of vitamin B. I've been to pain doctors and several neurolgists, only one neurologist suggested vitamin B and that was pills, the pills did nothing. My primary care doctor told me the higher injected dose is needed. She was right. The official name is Cyanocobalamin 1,000 MCG/ML VL

Have yet to speak with pain specialist, but he's calling today so will definitely ask him about Vitamin B12 injections. Shall find out if he could prescribe a specific regime for me. Anything to reduce nerve damage would be extremely helpful.
