Hi Kathleen, regarding your aorta ... did they tell you there's an aneurysm? The reason I ask is because my dad had one and when it ruptured he had to have an emergency surgery. That was many years ago and they probably have new technology now to figure out, in advance, when a person might need replacement before there's an emergency. So I was just wondering why they tell you that "you may need an aorta replacement..." if you feel like giving more details.
