I had a complex THR at the end of January. I have only begun to walk normally after nearly 4 months. It was complex because I had soft bones. My x-ray shows a typical hip replacement along with a cable to prevent a fracture. The good news is that the horrible knee pain that went on for 7 years is

7 years is almost totally gone. I could not have imagined that a bad hip could have caused such severe pain in the knee. I feel soooo much better now. I am 74 years old.
