I 'fired' a physician who 'was concerned about my dependence on prednisone.' I have an excellent rheumy, but this MD didn't get it!! I'd lost the sight in one eye and had no intention of losing the other if I had anything to say about it. Sometimes we have to take charge and be our own best advocates.
