jordyn246, Bless you! Yes, Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is very drying to the mouth and eyes. I would think Gabapentin would be too. Try coconut oil pooling. Get the really good kind of coconut oil and hold it in your mouth (about a heaping teaspoon full) for a few minutes and don't swallow. Then spit it in the trashcan and rinse your mouth. DO NOT spit into sink as it hardens and can clog up the pipes. Also, use Spry chewing gum. Hugs & Prayers....

Thank you, will the coconut oil help for the overnight dry mouth? During the day I am fine. Can I get a really good coconut oil at the grocery store? How would I know the best kind? Yes, I am sure my dry mouth is caused by the drugs I am taking. I would love to wean myself off both Cyclobenzaprine and Gabapentin. I think I am overdosing on medicines that are causing my night dry mouth. Besides Cyclo and Gaba I also take Hydrochlorothazid 25 MG and Bupropion 200 These four drugs all cause dry mouth. I feel like the poster child for dry mouth. LOL Before my fall I took only 3 medicines and I was thinking of weaning off my Buproion (happy pill) then. I would have had only my highblood pressure and thyroid then. My horrific fall has changed me so much. I do hate taking so many drugs. Hugs and prayers are good for this poster child. Thank you
