@lisamae Can you tell me why you had the urine test? Did you have symptoms that made you go to a doctor?
Usually, microscopic blood in the urine is a sign of an UTI-bladder infection. Do you have any other symptoms like pain when you urinate, a strong urge to urinate and the need to go frequently? UTI’s can be a real problem, so it’s important that you follow up with your doctor.
“Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are the most common cause of hematuria. Since the urinary tract is composed of the bladder, ureters, and kidneys, a UTI refers to an infection anywhere in that system. A bladder infection is called cystitis, and a kidney infection is called pyelonephritis.”
Can you call your doctor tomorrow?

Thought I had a bladder infection so doctor ordered a urinalysis everything came back ok as follows: color Straw, Clarity Clear, Glucose Neg., Bilirubin neg., Ketone neg., Specific Gravity< 1.005 ( I drink about 1 1/2 liters of water per day).,Blood 1+., PH 5.5., Protein Neg.,Urobilinogen neg., Nitrite Neg., Leukocyte Neg., has culture urine also came back 10,000-50,000 CFU/ml urogenital flora doctor said everything was ok. I ask about the blood and Doc say maybe I was trying to pass a kidney stone. Doctor put me on Cefuroxime Axetil 500mg 1 tab by mouth twice a day for 5 days before we did the urinalysis and culture. I thought my urine looked somewhat amber color so thats why he ordered those to tests
