I am 4 1/2 months out of surgery. I had to go back in hospital and have a manipulation. I still get stiff off & on & I am still having trouble with range of motion. I had night pain for a long time. I went to a chiropractor and he adjusted me 3-4 times and I am sleeping much better. Knee may wake me up a couple times but usually I have my knee bent and it needs straightened out. Before I took a relaxer & a oxycodone to sleep. Still have pain, swelling & stiffness off & on through out day. I do a lot of icing & I pedal to relieve stiffness. This is my 2nd knee replacement. Other one went some better but still hard. I am now using a dynasplint to try & improve range of motion. Has anyone else used this & was it successful. I just got it about 2 weeks ago - 4 mos post surgery. Can I still improve ROM this late in the game?

I’m 3 1/2 mos post surgery. At 102 degrees flexion and still working to improve bend. It’s been a struggle right thru but I do my home exercises at least 1x day and the flexion ones 2x most days. I’m still seeing improvement though slow - maybe 1 or 2 degrees a week. My flexion isn’t preventing me from doing anything I need/want to but I think it’s wise to get the best results I can so I’m going to continue to work at it. I did find that massage therapy and massaging the knee and incision improved the ability to flex during exercises so I continue to do that.
