I have had you on my mind today, I just wanted to check in and see if you were feeling a little better again today?
Thank you so much! I appreciate your thoughts and concern.
I am feeling a bit better today, as I just started the week off from the Ibrance, (3 weeks on, 1 week off).
It's's amazing how my energy level came back up in just a day.
Looking forward to a few days with a little more pep in my step!
I would recommend the same. Just make yourself move and be active, even moderately. I can feel shitty hanging around or in bed or shitty being active. But by being active you get some positive input into your life.
And double bonus positive if you are active and feel happy 😊😊😊
I have been on I.V Enhertu for 10 treatments, every 3 weeks. I have stage four breast cancer and am 80 years old. My last CT scan showed a decrease of the liver cancer of about 50% and my tumor marker went down from 1500 to 42 points. I am on the low dose of Enhertu and have not had any major side effects. I did have a port implanted as my veins are very small and hard to find. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 . I hope you have good luck with the Enhertu. So far it is working good for me.
You are very encouraging. Did you loose your hair? And did you start out at a lower dose or did you request it. I sometimes feel guilty that I want more time when so many women are so much younger and have small children with stage four. But this was not in my plan. I divorced my husband of 22 years four months before my cancer returned and my happy ever after went out the door. I have had to stop my volunteer work at the hospital because my oncologist doesn’t want me exposed to so many people. That makes me sad. I have to force myself to be motivated. I already have lots of stomach cramps because the cancer is in my gallbladder and hepatic area. But your post was so helpful and I thank you!!
I have had fine, thin hair genetically most of my older years so it is hard to tell but I have thinning around my face mostly. I generally request a lower dose of most of my cancer meds. It seems the drs like to start out at the higher dose and its just too hard on me. My drs at Mayo, Rochester, Mn are very happy and want me to continue on the low dose. I also get IV anti nausea meds with the infusion and have had no problems with nausea. I have a little constipation the first week but take Metamucil daily and stool softners when needed. I found out the IV infusions are much easier to take than those terrible tasting pills I was always given. I hope the Enhertu helps you too. Sorry to hear about your personal life. Stay strong!!
