Mri scan for hip?
Hi, husband has been referred for an MRI scan before hip op. He was not referred for an MRI 2 years ago when he had his first op done?
Is this anything to worry about? We assumed it would be like last time.
When we attended consultation last week, and saw the xray with surgeon in his office, he didn't mention MRI.

That's the truth! I am on NOTHING that actually relieves my pain! For 2 years!! I was in pain for over 10 years before this but it always was gone by morning, so I did not go to the doc until the pain never left, got worse, and I KNEW something was REALLY wrong. Anyway, that guy who said you didn't need a THR, but offered no alternative sounds rather useless. My x-ray showed bone on bone, and bone spurs. What did yours show? The more you know the more you can find out for yourself before seeing a doc. You MUST research on your own, and you can NOT just trust the doc like the old days! There IS relief somewhere out there.❤
I also had the hip shot, MINIMAL relief, but at least I could tell they got the right spot! You're lucky, I don't even have my 1st Ortho doc appointment until June 30! I wish I could have my surgery NOW.❤ Keep us posted on your recovery.
Too funny about taking your dog's tramadol.🐾😁But, sad at the same time!😕
I agree. Funny and sad. Don't worry - I made sure that my aging dog had everything he needed. I would treat his pain before mine.
