Hello @nessa, you may notice that I moved your discussion and combined it with another discussion titled, "Has anyone had sharp thigh pain after hip replacement?" I did this so you could read through some of the previous posts and so that you would be introduced to the many members already discussion post-hip replacement pain.

@nessa, I don't have experience with hip replacement surgery but I did have my right knee done when I was young (19). I had a real tough time with scar tissue so I had pain for a long time after my initial surgery. If you are comfortable sharing with the group, how intense is the pain? Is it movement based?
