Anyone have a positive Cologuard test?
My test results came back positive. I asked what did it show, because they test for 11 different cancers or categories. They said, it just states either negative or positive for cancer. I had problems a few years back and did a colonoscopy, which came back ok. Now this!! I'm reading theres a 13 percent chance of false positive. Right now I'm extremely distraught about having to go through all Consults, tests, and dreaded preps. Orders are in for Consult with gastro, but they're booked out through January or February in Mayo. I have not received any notice for appointment yet. Dont know what to think or do.

Me too!
Just got my positive results from the Cologard test. Kind of nervous about what this means - cancer, etc.
I got negative Cologard results six months ago. I start radiation and chemo next week. Maybe it's time for a class action law suit.
I got positive results. I called cologuard , expecting to find out more details than just one word (“positive”). They said my doctor received more details so to contact him. My doctor sent me what he got and it was exactly the same-one word. I especially was interested to find out if the positive result was from detected blood or from dna, which Cologuard is supposed to find. Apparently Cologuard has a lot more information but doesn’t release it to patients..or doctors. The next step should be a colonoscopy , which I was hoping to avoid with the Cologuard. The colonoscopy found two polyps which were removed. I’ll need another colonoscopy in 1-3years. I won’t bother with Cologuard again.
Agree. Would not do Colorguard again. Would just do a colonoscopy. Also would not do again if there were negative results from Colorguard and then something positive was found.
Just go with the colonoscopy.
My thoughts exactly. The reason I got Cologuard was to avoid a colonoscopy. Now I’m scheduled to have done next week.
same thing with me. I have to have one in 3 weeks, I am 82 and not to happy about
this.

Feel like doing the Colorguard and then a colonoscopy makes it double stressful
I had a positive Cologuard test and had a colonoscopy at age 84. A small polyp was found and removed. It was benign.
