PSA variation

Had a recurrence 2.5 years ago after prostatectomy. Radiation and 9 months of hormone therapy was the treatment. My latest PSA result was less than .1, the last three PSA test results were all less than .01.

Due to an insurance change I went to a new Doctor and a new lab performed the PSA test on 05/02/2023 which resulted in the less than .1 result. Could this be due to the new lab or should I be concerned.

Thats a good psa. You will get a bump in psa here and there.

First less than .1 is good. Different labs use different methods. My first 2 PSA tests reported values of less than 0.1. My last test was .03 but the reference range of the test was shown with my result. The range was .03 to 4.0. So my PSA was as low as the sensitivity of the test I took. So it is very possible the sensitivity of the test you just took was 0.1 like the first 2 tests I took after my RALP.
