Hello @mollygirl1959, Welcome to Connect. I don't blame you a bit for being beyond frustrated, especially if you are having the pain and symptoms but they haven't been able to help provide any relief.

I'm wondering if you can get copies of your latest chest x-rays and seek help or a second opinion at a teaching hospital or major health facility like Mayo Clinic. Do you think that might be an option?

I have had these symptoms going on 3 years! I spend about half of my days in bed because I'm not feeling good, and the pain is better when I'm lying down rather than sitting. I explained to the thoracic surgeons office all of my symptoms, but they didn't seem to care. I truly believe it's all a huge money thing.....one hand feeds the other and they really don't care about truly helping people and getting to the root of the problem. I'm sure I could get my xrays sent to the thoracic surgeons office, but she was so insistent that go get another exam and another xray, that maybe they wouldn't accept it? I just saw my dr. last month!
I would LOVE to go to Mayo Clinic!!! I'm sure my insurance doesn't cover me going there though. I have Common Ground Health Insurance.
I so appreciate your reply...what a blessing to know someone even cared enough to reply! Thank you!!
