Hi all - I’ve been posting as #britelite. I was a healthy 78 year old, traveling, swimming, gardening. Had COVID in February and it’s been one thing after another - mainly shortness of breath, heart irregularities and lightheaded. Had EKG & Holter monitoring last month and results were slightly abnormal but not alarming. Was supposed to have stress test in a couple of weeks but 2 days ago, symptoms really got worse. Was hesitant to go to ER again but went and found I was in complete heart block! Had pacemaker inserted yesterday and am feeling so much better. The doctors are hesitant to say COVID caused this - they just don’t know. I’m hoping this is the solution to my problems but I’m scared the covid is still lurking in my body and will manifest as some other crazy malady. So, just want to say, even if you’ve been to doctors and ER multiple times, when you feel crappy get yourself checked out. Warm wishes for better times to you all and pray there’s a cure out there for this soon.

I had covid in January of 2022. Had extremely high blood pressure where normally I had low blood pressure. Was in ICU for six days. Since this time I get very fatigued trying to do anything. I was very active prior to this. I was told by my cardiologist that it was covid related. I have been on meds since that time. Very frustrating for sure.
