Alguien ha tenido metastasis en ganglios? Metastases in lymph nodes

@lupitaromero, I'm tagging fellow members @catob @emmepoppins @ce1b who have metastasis to the lymph nodes.

What treatments are you getting?

I haven’t treatment yet… just follow up closely with PET CT, endoscopy and biopsies.
The node is 0.3” x 0.2” size next to the stomach (outside), I think it’s little….
Idk what’s next 🥺😔

Hope all is well with peace in your life. I was diagnosed with large cell neuroendocrine tumor on my lung as the primary site that had metastasized to my #5 lymph node in my mediastinum. It was found to be non operable. This was last August. Sense then I have had chemotherapy combined with radiation treatments followed by lanreotide (Somatuline Depot) injections. I am now on my 3rd round of injections with another PET scan scheduled for end of June. This will be my "new normal" in hopes that the lanreotide keeps the tumors from growing or spreading. I have a great team of doctors that are keeping me healthy. The treatments are not without its challenges but I am doing well under the circumstances. There is lots of information out there for you to view, but don't go on cancer overload.. let the doctors do that for you.. I consider my primary job as staying healthy, eating right, being physically active, and when ever possible stress free. Body, mind, and soul as we should have been doing all along.

None so far. Watching and waiting. Since surgery in April there has been very little increase in size of the two masses - one near thyroid and one near the aorta farther down. So we wait believing that my husbands life is in Gods hands and God is good. Do we deserve that? No. But we know we are loved by a great God!
