I too got the 4K test. I received a score of 9; the cutoff number for biopsy recommendation was 7.5. So my number was not outrageously high….yet I wound up with a Gleason 4+3 unfavorable with practically the entire prostate affected.
My friend’s 4K score was 26….super high, not good! His biopsy was Gleason 3+4 and he had a low Decipher score.
Still can’t figure out what good this test is good for other than indicating you need a biopsy or not.
