This is regarding an issue with the gums in the mouth.

Has anyone ever heard of or experienced the gums secreting a salty crystal-like substance from the gums? It has a metallic taste and burns the mouth. I’m desperate to find out information. Dentist and periodontal doctor has no clue. Anyone heard of such. It’s driving my wife crazy.

She has high folic acid, Doctor took her off B Vitamins. Offered nothing on her condition!

Thanks for your expertise and concern. Jean has an appointment this week with her physician. The substance is coming from her gums. It’s very salty and when it collects on her teeth it becomes very sharp. I mentioned to her about getting the spitting colleges for analysis.
