I have same thing. Slow transit constipation. Dr prescribed reglan 10 mg

Reglan is scary with awful potential side effects. Ask for Motegrity

To digest food our body released gastric juices - the gurgling sound our stomachs make. There’s a reason that’s not happening. I had that issue. Prescription meds did not solve it as once I quit taking them, my indigestion returned. My doctor tested me for the following: SIBO, a yeast infection, a fungal infection, parasites and mold. Perhaps at least ruling out these conditions will help your doctor treat you with something more effective.

Miralax or benefiber to keep system regular.

For people with true gastroparisis, this does not help. Food is literally sitting in your stomach too long. It makes you feel full after just a few bites and makes you nauseous and sometimes vomit. This can also be accompanied by slow motility in the intestines if there is gastrointestinal neuropathy.

It sounds like gastroparisis. If you have not had a gastric emptying test, you need to have that. Along with feeling full most of the time, are you also feeling nauseous and/or vomiting sometimes?

Hello, I also had very slow digestion, and doctor dismissed with gastroparesis, she said that a medicine we can't find here, you can find in Mexico, it is called Motilium and it's really good. For my severe constipation I eat Papaya twice a day and it works wonders and it's natural fruit. Good luck and God bless 🙏🏻

There's a new motility drug out called "Amitiza", recommended by my Kaiser doctor. Check out the side effects first. Also, have you asked for a SIBO breath test? It's critical, since it can detect abnormal levels of gas in the stomach & upper intestine (especially methane) that result from bacteria, the presence of which also reduces stomach motility. Slow stomach results in fod sitting & fermenting, creating more gas.
