You have described my life. I am 75 and have gone from a healthy, active professional woman to a person who barely functions with a long list of symptoms. I hope and pray that we get some kind of relief protocols soon.
So sorry about your sleep problems and I feel for you! I have always had problems with getting a solid night’s sleep but after covid, its so much worse! I have anxiety attacks and can’t get to sleep then worry that I’m not getting enough sleep and so it goes - round & round. I never used to have anxiety attacks! When will it end??
Try 3 CBD gummies for sleep at night and drink tart cherry juice NOT from concentrate before bedtime…works pretty good for me
if you are open to trying breathing techniques that is free and fully in your control. i highly recommend Box Breathing... If you are open to acupuncture, I find this helpful for pain and aches, I forgot to add that to my other post -- perhaps it would help your sleep as well. I have the opposite issue that I am sleeping WAAAY too much - I used to be awake and productive for 18-20 hrs a day; now I can only be awake for ~12 hrs a day. completely flipped my life around and yet, I have to keep trying, keep going... just differently. I have stopped looking back for what I wish I could do or be and am trying to focus on what I can do now with this shell of a body that doesn't work at all the same -- I just turned 49 and refuse to give up....there's gotta be a better way 🙂
Hi @ripley. I am so sorry for your experiences and so empathize. I have found meditation my way of coping. I know things are everchanging and this allows for falling back to sleep at night ( may take (couple of hours ) to helping make thru breathless day. Please keep trying for what helps and you will find improvement. 🌈
