I caught covid last year I’ve tried all prescribed steroids nasal sprays, tablets, antihistamines sinus wash outs and nasal ones but still missing lots of sleep from choking at night on thick post nasal drip. So exhausted feel I can’t cope anymore. ENT would like to do FESS op to drain sinuses but there are potentially bad side effects. Has anyone had this surgery and did it help?It sounds so minor but I’m short of breath now and can’t cope anymore. Has anyone had a good result from those op?

I have not had the operation you mentioned. It’s scary, because you get so desperate… I would try anything at this point! Actually? I have tried everything. I had this inability to swallow for the first time during my 2 month bout of Covid (3/20) and it went away when my flares settle. I hope your flare can settle down and that it stops for you, too.

I also have the glue type mucus, when I was in the emergency room with stomach and gas pain was not able to breath very well I took a plastic disk type dish and spit in it for about a hour then I showed the doctor how the glue type spit would not move when I tilted the dish, it's like having cystic fibrosis I feel like my whole body has become inflamed, the doctor had nothing to say he did give me a antibiotic which didn't help,I try to drink alot of water keep something to spit in try to keep from swallowing it, this virus seems to be very well engineered it seems to attach all are vital organs
