Have stage IV prostate cancer, no insurance, scans last week demonstrated innumerable sclerotic foci lesions on my pelvis, spine and chest along with compression fractures of T8-T10. Seeing my oncologist next Tuesday. Feel like I am dying. Any hope or should I ride this out.

Thank you.

2018 had 40 radiation 2020 it met to L2 Had intense radiation which blew it away Back on Zolodex and continue

Jan 23 started Xtandi as MRI and PET showed L1 had 1 minc ( too close to radiated ) and T 10 and T 11 small spots
PSA dropped from 9.8 to 4 in 2 months and now 1.7 Added 11 week injection of Xgeva which takes calcium from blood and pushes it into bone Take 1200 mg of calcium daily
So since 2017 discovery of AGRESSIVE through sensitive to now resistive its been almost 6 yrs New drug coming Radiation oncologist say look at 5 yrs then a new treatment So I am 78 now adding 5 enjoying every day but tired gets me to 83 Then new drugs Exercise and eat well and prayer ever day I try to go to mass daily as its my first appointment of the day 🙂

Never lose hope. It’s not an option. There is treatment for your specific case. My concern is the lack of insurance bc this drugs are quite expensive. See what your oncologist offers as treatment and look forward to getting better. I will be praying for you and your family and please DO NOT LOSE HOPE.
