Is this RLS (restless leg syndrome)?

@lemartin417

I have restless legs and my neurologist put me on Mirapex. I have to take .25 mg 3 x daily. I have other conditions as well so I have to take quite a lot of medication and have morning, mid-day and evening pill keepers. My “restless legs” will spread to my arms as well if for some reason medication is missed. I wasn’t allowed to take it before a surgery which kept getting pushed back for an available OR. It began to act up and I was twitching and moving all around uncontrollably before they actually got me back there for the procedure. My nurse thought I was having a reaction to something she gave me and I explained it was restless leg syndrome but spreads to whole body syndrome w/o my meds.

@lemartin417 I would also have a terrible time if I couldn’t take my medicine for RLS! Did the surgeon actually tell you not to take it? Or was it just a generalized rule?
I’d love to know what you learn. Will you stay in touch?
