Hi Ginger
Will let you know how it goes
Steve
I was rejected to Mayo, but my symptoms were never addressed in my medical records. So I understand. “At least you can walk”,was as far as I got with the medical community. Nurse did note in my record saying my symptoms were never addressed.
I’m in a world of pain, firestorm in my legs 24/7. Only 1/4 of my body feels normal.
Hi Colleen
A thought
How about asking the Mayo Clinic team to create, if not already existing, a way - protocol - for helping a patient outside Mayo Clinic walls, on Mayo CONNECT and others, inform their local physicians about the processes Mayo Clinic uses for physicians, along with the other providers, collaborating together in interpersonal and technological communication about the needs of a patient.
Integrated health care providers communicating and sharing medical data, along with human wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, to assess the cause and provide treatment for a patient's condition, including neuropathy.
Then share the protocol with the participants on Mayo CONNECT, and others throughout the US.
Thanks for helping.
Steve
@swanson2023 Steve, wonderful news to hear! I will be interested to hear what the results are of the collaboration with your doctors and the Mayo Clinic staff! Will you keep us apprised, please?
