I was just diagnosed with esophageal cancer and am seeing an oncologist today for a consultation. I live in Knoxville, Tn. and was wondering after hearing all the wonderful and positive comments on the treatment one gets at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota if I could get the same kind of treatment at the Mayo Center in Jacksonville, as I am much closer to that facility.

We went to Rochester for all the initial testing, scans, consults and treatment plan.
We live in Florida.
Started treatment in Jacksonville. They have been equally as professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Just as in Rochester, the providers take their time explaining and answering any and all questions.
