In regards to your reply about what to take to hospital. A small but important one, is to bring a nice soft warm robe, as we know the "robe" the hospital they give you in lacking in comfortbility on the back half. You will need it when you start recovering and taking numerous walks in the hallway. As many things as you would do at home to occupy yourself, while you rest and recover. You got this!
It was a ' combined' pancreatectomy ( with spleen and gallbladder removal), liver debulking AND hysterectomy :). But I survived it. Stayed in the hospital for 6 days.
