Hi guys how are you?

I am going through a very difficult moment and don't know what to do. I don't have anxiety just extreme uncontrollable pain.

I have an extreme constant pulling pain in the left of my neck. It is pulling from the left of neck all the way down the left side to the groin and left foot. I have bad pins and needles in the fingers of my left hand, my left shoulder hurts. My blood pressure is 172/106. I can't turn my neck all the way to the left.

The pain from the pulling can't be relieved, it is horrible, 24/7.

I have taken gabapentin, nortriptyline, targin but it won't let go.
I have tried hot and cold packs, deep breathing to no avail. I tried soft and hard collar too. My eyes are lacrimating.

I can't sleep at all. I feel it standing, sitting and lying position. It feels like someone is trying to rip my neck from the left side, it is extremely tight.
Is this muscle, tendon, ligament related?

I can't contact anyone because it is the weekend.

Do you have any advice to help with this?

Thanks

Alfred

Could you try going to a walk in emergency center? Not the hospital a clinic ? So sorry.

It very much sounds like some mid neck and lower neck nerves are compressed. Have u seen a neurologist. He or she will order an MRI. Don’t do any pulling downward with your arms. Warm pack 15 min followed by very cool pack 15 min. Totally avoid sugary foods and dairy (they trigger nerve pain and inflammation, white flour foods, chocolate and MSG (nerve irritants). Take Turmeric twice a day. Advil - wait four hours then take Tylenol. I had neck PT for similar problems and got better. But bc of gravity the pain came bk yr later so I had PT again.
