Vagifem use and what helps vaginal dryness

I used Vagifem for years UNTIL I got breast cancer. My oncologist told me to stop using it ): Unless it is used with AI/Tamoxifen which I am not using. now trying a hyaluronic acid it comes in a tube with applicators like Vagifem did. Too soon to tell if it's working or not.

Do you mind telling us if you are using Revaree? I’ve seen it advertise. It’s very expensive but, I’ve tried everything else.

Its' called Hyalo Gyn. It's 25.00 per month with a subscription shipped to you. So far it seems to work pretty well. Vagifem however actually helped with urinary issues as well this may too but its still early.

I had a gyno prescribe vagifem, she said it was safe and I tried it for a year but it didn’t really do much. Then when I talked to the new gyno after she retired, they said I should never have been given it.
I can tell you that I didn’t get enough estrogen to help the hot flashes. Lol
Are you going try one of the other products mentioned here?

I am looking for a product that can help me with the integrity of my tissue, as Vagifem did. I have urinary tract, and vaginal problems without hormones. I just wonder what the REAL percentage of women are actually affected by this tiny amount of hormones that might not stay locally. I wil try the recommended product.

I found nothing to help with the vaginal atrophy. I tried some things the doctors recommended but none of them helped and one caused an injury. I eventually just decided that is just what happens and I am still here to whine about it.
I do take a cranberry concentrate supplement twice a day and stay hydrated to keep the urinary issues at bay.
This is one of the hardest things I have gone through relating to early and hard menopause.
Are you thinking of trying the hyalo gyn, or Revaree?

Hi. Yes I am into trying new ways to adjust the best I can, with all of these new challenges.

I had used it prior to my diagnosis of breast cancer. My oncologist does not allow the use of Vagifem or any other topical estrogen. The best I can say just is good lubricant and a daily vaginal moisturizer. Sliquid is a good product line.

If anyone does try over the counter/by mail moisturizers I would recommend patch testing on inner arm. 4 gyns later(and many creams and samples given by them) now at a vulvar specialist. The ingredients in one or more of these has given me contact dermatitis. Now waiting to go to a dermatologist for patch testing.

I'm trying AH! Yes Vaginal Moist and Lubricant - handy little tubes - my onoc recommended. Helping maybe a little - But honestly still not easy to have intercourse as painful- at 57 yrs and kind of feel bad for my understanding hubby - Letrozole has just stripped me of any "interest" but only been on for 10 weeks - hoping for improvement.
