@idumas if you’re having pain and you’re not obtaining relief thru your neurologist ask them if you can see a pain specialists. I tried gabapentin and hated the way it made me feel so I never took it. I’m allergic to NSAIDs so my only anti inflammatory is Turmeric 2400mg 3x/day. I also have a buprenorphine patch that I change every 7 days and use CBD and THC oil too. Anything that works that will not harm me.

I'll try CBD and Tinctures before I'll add to my cocktail Big Pharma med's for Parkinson's (and the side effects of this disease) as well as a mood stabilizer for treating my Bipolar symptoms. When I asked the prescribing doctor about the long-term effects of taking the anti-depressant and mood stabilizer, without lifting his head to look at me (was busy catching up on his notes), all he told me, in a calm but distant voice, answered, "(They) can't be good"). Gotta love these guys making $3-4 hundred thousand/year. Which leads me to the response to , "Anything that works that will not harm me." I approve of medicinal marijuana, but just because it's a natural herb doesn't mean it won't harm you. Just saying, drugs are drugs, and scientific research is often slanted due to the influence peddlers who sponsor the funding.
