I’m currently on FOLFIRI which get at the cancer center then I get hooked up with 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) at home for 46 hours. My oncologist did mentioned surgery for the first time but didn’t go into details. I meet with him in May to get more details.

Good to identify the surgeon you want to see. Find an excellent surgeon and hear from the doctor directly about how things stand.

I wish all the best for you. It can be such a roller coaster ride. Keep up the positive outlook. I think the mental/emotional aspect is as important as the actual treatments. Keep pushing yourself to exercise and eat even when you don’t feel like it and I think you will have a better outcome.
