joyajoe. I went back and reread your post and I think I misunderstood your history. Are you saying you did have a period of having dentures but now are not able to wear them at all? Thanks.

Yes, now I do try very hard to keep them in and do as best as I can in public. Now, at 76 , my gums have receded almost to the point of nothing. My dentist does the best she can, but there is really nothing to be done.
There no bones left. I’ve had this disease since birth but never bad until I hit my 50’s. My partner of 25 yrs has left me, because he has never been sick in his life. He will not accept what is happening. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!

I have Lupus. Was diagnosed in 2017. I have a partial that does not fit because I lost weight. The dental office I got it made at is offering to cover the charges to get it fixed. Just wondering if this could help you. Pat
