Injection site reaction on Forteo

After six weeks on Forteo, I started to have injection site reactions now daily. The reaction consists of redness at the injection site, about the size of a quarter. It fades by morning. My Dr. suggested I consider a switch to Tymlos. Does anyone have information on injection site reactions with either of these drugs? Is it a problem to continue using Forteo?

Hi,
I have been using Forteo for about 13 months & I also see redness around the injection site. It has not worried me (at 73 my skin has thinned & shows any bump or scratch!) but I saw my primary care Dr today & asked her if it was a concern. She did not feel it was. I have had no other side effects or problems with Forteo. Take care.
