Yes, I had this done in March of last year at the Mayo in Jacksonville. They did, what the called a purse string attachment.
I have not had a single problem since.

Hi Lindes
I have a rectocele and have been seeing Dr C in the Jacksonville Mayo Clinic. She says she can perform surgery in outpatient and indicates this is all she does. Amazing there are so many of us out there. I read that you had it done last March and are doing fine. Can you please give me any tips on how you could poo without straining post op? This is what terrifies me the most. Thanks so much.

Did you have a long wait for an appointment at Jacksonville?
