Sixty-nine years old, 2.5 years into this journey. Radiation, Chemo, Hormone meds. First six months bedridden. Following six months, extremely weak. Lots of slips and falls, but finally, after a thousand tries, I could walk again. One year ago, I started a wellness program to reinvent my life. Stage IV can never be cured, but it can be treated. I've two types of treatments. One of the types the oncologists and doctors give me. Two, the type I give myself, which is my wellness plan. Exercise, Nutrition, and Mindfulness. 1.5 hours of exercise daily; walking, swimming, stretchy bands, Tai-Chi, recumbent bike,

Your story is inspirational and continues to build my hope, which was nonexistent when I was diagnosed in January at age 54. I haven't experienced any symptoms other than shrinkage from the lack of testosterone. I'm going to fight strongly to maintain my strength, energy and quality of life.

I am on Enzalutamide or Xtandi since Jan PSA dropped from 9.8 to 1.7 in 8 weeks
L2 lumbar was radiated in 2021 Spine has abount 4 spots T10 T11 L1
40 Rads on prostate in 2018
Just added XGEVA injection 7 weeks to push calcium into bones
Tired but feel great At 78
Must take 1200 calcium daily Staying on Zolodex injections 3 mos
