I have just been diagnosed with this cancer. I had ureter cancer in 2021, on the PET scan in February an anorectal cancer showed up. It is through the muscles, with lymph node involvement. I start chemo radiotherapy tomorrow. I’m sorry you are dealing with this too. It is a very challenging road to be on.

I am very lucky to have had some of the best doctors to take control of my situation and make an aggressive plan right from the start. I started at Stage 2A (not sure what that exactly meant) and it was time to move quickly with chemo 5 days a week and radiation the same for 6 weeks, to start. When the vaginal cancer occurred, they had only one option for me - surgery.

Did they catch your first cancer in the beginning stage? Then, you had a break between cancers? Were you able to get relatively well between them?
