I have Neurofibromitosis type 2 and lost all of my teeth by age 50, fortunately I had a great dentist. He made me beautiful teeth and no one ever knew. Now
I have no gums to hold my teeth, that’s the disease. Not your problem! There
is a toothpaste for gum issues, try it. Best of luck to you.

joyajoe. Two questions. 1) What holds your dentures in place if no gums? and
2) Can you pass along the name of the toothpaste? I'm using Colgate for sensitive teeth/gums but it is so thick and sticky, it is hard to get it rinsed off after brushing. I'm 77 and have tried so hard to save my natural teeth. Was doing pretty good with crowns, cleanings and exams every 4 months but my dentist is incompetent, or lazy. I see oral surgeon on Wed to discuss extracting 15 teeth. Thanks for your post/sharing.

joyajoe. I went back and reread your post and I think I misunderstood your history. Are you saying you did have a period of having dentures but now are not able to wear them at all? Thanks.
