Unusual side effect of dementia?

Posted by ga908453 @ga908453, Apr 3, 2023

My mom was diagnosed a couple of years ago.
A couple days ago something strange happened: The whole day she spoke Spanish and I think she wasn't aware of it. Luckily, I understand Spanish. If she switched to the other language she learned (Japanese) I'd be screwed.

Has anyone else experienced this?
