My Oncologist wants to do a whole breast radiation treatment, but only for 15 weeks plus the boost. instead of the 25 weeks plus boost. I like the idea of your 'partial breast radiation' and will ask her about this at our next appointment. I would still like the opportunity of 'watch and wait. because if I have radiation now and the cancer comes back, I will have to have a Mastectomy. You can't have radiation twice on the same breast as I understand it. And the cancer may not come back. If it does it still gives me more options. By the way, I did write about the Aromatase Inhibitors causing poorer cognitive function. (University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Study between 2005-2012). As my mom and her sisters had dementia in their later years, I'm not going to take a chance on taking that.
