Hi @sash, You will notice we added to the title of your discussion to better describe your question and hopefully bring members into the discussion who may have tried intraneural facilitation (INF) to relieve nerve pain, numbness and tingling. If I still lived in California, I would definitely consider this option for my neuropathy numbness. I'm 78 and my can remember my father going to Loma Linda University Hospital for blood vessel issues in his legs in the 1950s.

Here is another page on their website that explains what it is and might be helpful for others also.
-- What You Need to Know about Intraneural Facilitation (INF): https://lluh.org/services/neuropathic-therapy-center/blog/what-you-need-know-about-intraneural-facilitation-inf

Here is a study from 2016 that seems hopeful.
-- Effects of a Novel Therapeutic Intervention in Patients With Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26808781/

Are you considering intraneural facilitation treatment soon or have you looked into it?

I have looked in INF at Loma Linda. However the cost is about $4,000 not covered by insurance and the drive from the coast is about an hour and a half. If Loma Linda has trained others I would be interested in hearing who they are and their contact information. We live in Newport Beach and will try Hoag as well.

INF is a treatment that works to restore blood supply to damaged nerves. Physical therapists perform INF with their hands to stretch joints, muscles and blood vessels to reduce inflammation and widen openings in tiny blood vessels called capillarie

$4,000 and not covered by insurance. Give me a break. It's a scam just like everything else that claims it will increase blood flow to the area. Damaged nerves take a long time to heal. Call me a skeptic but I pissed away money on Stem Cell ($10,000), PRP (about a thousand dollars) and other "treatments". Why won't insurance cover this?? Because, it hasn't been proved to be effective. We are desperate!!! And we are targets. I wish you luck if you try it!!!!

@julkin I tend to agree. I am 3000 miles away from Loma Linda and wondering why this "successful" treatment which has been available there for years, has not been taught and published everywhere. If it is so easy to do that they teach you to do it yourself then a simple video could be used to teach it. I'm going to call them and request that. Will let you all know what their reply is.

I just found this site, doing research on behalf of my father.

I too am 3,000 miles away (perhaps we're neighbors? :). Did you discover any places closer than CA that offers this treatment?

There's another treatment I just discovered - but haven't yet researched - called Combined Electrochemical Therapy (CET). Does anyone know anything about this treatment?

I've talked with the manager of Loma Linda Medical University neuropathy Clinic and they start out doing a lot of tests and a lot of ultrasounds as well as checking for inflammation from anything that you eat or anything that you're exposed to or intake the way I understand it before they even start doing the massage and teaching you how to do things at home 3 to 4 hours a day for 10 days for less than $4,000 is really inexpensive it would probably cost that much to go in the hospital for one or two days and although it's not covered by Medicare or Insurance because it's not coded, it's a Cutting Edge new technology and I'm hopeful that I can somehow go out there and get help for my neuropathy because my Gabapentin that I depend on has a limit. My doctor has told me and I don't want to reach that limit and start taking a lot of other different medications and I would like to see the nerves rejuvenated as Loma Linda has stated they've had some success and also they include some testimonies from people that have been there and had the treatment . they sent me a folder they sent me some information about where to stay if I come out there, so I think it's very very reasonable price wise they give you a free call and a free video consultation with one of their physical therapy MDs and they sent me the packet on Loma Linda's clinic and their neuropathy operation. I think that it is a very very good leap of faith for an incurable disease that most doctors say your nerves are dead and all you can do is take pain medicine.

Since i have stopped using gluten cows milk and sugar my tkr post 11 years has gone from 10 to 0 . I also wear a knee sleeve ! I am a77 year old male .

@strawboy12 I am guessing that tkr means Total Knee Replacement. So what are you measuring that has gone from 10 to 0.1 ? Is that your pain level? Do you have neuropathy-type of pain?
I am just curious if you attribute reduced milk and sugar consumption to reduced neuropathy.
