Yes I had a lumpectopy a year ago. I was 64 at the time. I had it done at the same time as the lumpectopy so I was only under anesthesia once. It worked well for me. I also had a breast reduction at 50 so I knew what to expect. You will have tubes in for a week to 10 days for drainage. You will need to make sure you empty the tubes because you can get an infection or very sore due to the fluid build up. Iwas very satisfied with the results.

I had a lumpectomy in 2017 My scar is only about 1 1/2” long. I’ve never been bothered by it and wouldn’t hesitate having it done again with lumpectomy. I’m big bustard dd/ddd but scares me go through a reduction I went through enough pain with chemo that I don’t want to inflict more pain. Best of luck with your procedures 🤞
