I just posted a link to this study on another thread, but it seems even more relevant here.

I saw a video in which Dr. Kevin Winthrop, ID who has done lots of studies on NTM, said he tries to get patients off steroids if possible. I think because it suppresses immune function, which is addressed in this study.

I got pneumonia in Jan, and MAC in March. Thanks for the paper.
I'll print it out and give it to my Pulmo on Monday.
