It took me a long time to get through the withdrawals, but I did get through the worst of them, and you will too. I am still working on building self-confidence, since the w/d really kicked the living _____ out of me. Just stay positive and keep working out. Take one day at a time and remember how many other people are going through the same thing right now--you are definitely not alone. According to the FDA, in 2019, an estimated 92 million benzo prescriptions were dispensed from U.S. outpatient pharmacies, with Xanax being the most common. Doesn't that make us feel warm and fuzzy all over? Now, imagine how many people are going through the w/d and trying to get off of them. Yikes! Sometimes, when I am driving my car, I wonder how many other people are driving down the road going through the withdrawals. Keep your eyes on the road, right? Anyway, know you are not alone.

Did you already mention how you weaned off, how much at a time Reese? I have to be careful because of the TIA issue I mentioned, even though I don't think it was the weaning off that caused it.

I'll re-read your posts in case I missed the info I mentioned in first sentence 😉 Thanks much for your support, I do so appreciate it, Denise
