Hip replacement locking up

Had TLHR last April. Recently with weight on left leg, hip locks up. Has anyone experienced this? Is it a sign of loosening?

@tigergr I would say that if it is locking up, you need to see the surgeon. It will take an x-ray to see what is happening - whether something is loose, or there is another cause.
Please be very careful until then so you don't fall and cause another problem!

I had replacement in aug 22 nothing but pain since tightness in hip when i sit a certain way feels like it's locking up been thru test seen 4 Dr's they don't know what's causing it just know it hurts bad to do anything
