Yes, I’ve been told I had it. A little over a year ago, I had covid pneumonia, in the hospital for 3 weeks with 40 liters high flow bypap, came out with 24/7 oxygen until recently moving to a lower elevation.
I’ve had two CT scans since the hospitalization and my lungs still show ground glass opacity. My pulmonologist said I have Post inflammatory pulmonary fibrosis, which is damage to the lungs. I’m not sure it is curable. But he did say,it doesn’t look like it’s getting worse, its has showed stable.
