For me as a child growing pains were the constant starting when I moved from So.California to Pennsylvania at age 11 1957.
My legs hurt so terribly that I had trouble sleeping.
Our country doctor said “growing pains”. So everyone said ok and nothing was done to help me.
I think a factor was a very traumatic childhood with mental and physical abuse and abandonment.
Later I think I might have had Fibromyalgia and at age 62 diagnosed with RA and interstitial Lung Disease. My medications help me tremendously. Some days are a bit of a challenge, what’s most important is to keep moving.
The weather affects me too, I keep warm and active.
Wishing you and everyone else who suffer from the growing pains as a child and now have problems with pain .

Sounds like you’re writing my story also.
