My first post on here, I hope I'm putting this in the right place. 2 questions please:
1. Do all long-covid sufferers have the "ground-glass opacity" in your lungs? & did they tell you this essentially viral pneumonia? Mine did, & said it may take 6 months - a year to heal. Also going thru lots of tests on my heart to see if blockages have gotten worse (had a small amount 4 years ago), I'm having lots of what seems to be angina pectoris episodes.
Thanks for sharing info.
2. I'm wondering if I should wear masks when I go out. I'm concerned about how harmful it would be if I get another illness on top of this or especially if I get covid again.

I don’t have lung issues from my long covid, but I think I have angina episodes (I call them heart flares). I’ve had long covid since July 2022, and when I got the flu in Sept, it really made my long COVID symptoms much worse. I don’t go anywhere without a mask.

I contracted Covid in April of 2022. All the classic symptoms and then some! I still have heart flare ups, as you call them; lots of chest pain and still undergoing testing. I don't go anywhere without masking (I use the KN95). The last thing I want is to be re-infected. I don't know if I will ever be comfortable without one ever again.

It's May and I'm still masking whenever I'm indoors or close to people. I had Covid in August and have been struggling with Long Covid ever since. I also was very active before and now can't do a whole lot without paying a price for using up my energy. I absolutely do not want to get Covid again so I mask and take other precautions. I make no explanations about why I'm wearing a mask unless I'm asked. I just want to protect myself and wear KN-95 masks.
