PRRT for those with Incontinence Issues

My wife is scheduled to begin PRRT in early March 2023. In spite of a recent consult with radiology, we are still concerned about the potential negative impact of radiation to her bladder and /or kidneys due to the time period urine collects before being discharged. [We understand amino acid will be infused as kidney protection]
We also understand catheterization is an option during infusion but not practical at home.
The consult doc seemed to be "O.K." with long times spent at home on the toilet - he has no other suggestions.
1. Has anyone had this issue / experience?
2. If so, any comments will be sincerely appreciated.

My incontinence was enough to classify me as unsuitable for PRRT treatment. Radiation residue was the main concern even though I live alone. I also have kidney issues but that did not seem to be of importance. So you are lucky...do what you have to do to get PRRT. There are only so many tools to fight the tumors from hell. A good kidney specialist consult is what you need. Good luck. GAP

My incontinence was enough to classify me as unsuitable for PRRT treatment. Radiation residue was the main concern even though I live alone. I also have kidney issues but that did not seem to be of importance. So you are lucky...do what you have to do to get PRRT. There are only so many tools to fight the tumors from hell. Did your wife begin the PRRT therapy this month? I hope she is doing well.

Yes, she completed #1 and so far so - good - as with many others the fatigue is an issue. We'll be very pleased if that is the only noticeable main effect.
We will be interested when her blood test results are available - another gate to go through before the next treatment.
