Haven't tried that but someone on here mentioned Benfodamine. They said it was better than Gabapentin. I am going to look in to it.

I have a different problem then you but I was prescribed Gabapentin for my problem and it did not work. I was then prescribed Pregabolin and so far it is working. Pain is gone. You might ask your doctor about this medication. It definitely made me sleep. We had to reduce the amount I take because I was sleeping all day.
