As I understand it, a liner replacement is the same as the surgery for a hip replacement. I have a liner that has worn down in the 5 years since the arthroplasty, and my Ortho advised urgency on removal/new liner, and said surgery and recovery time is basically same as a hip replacement. Not looking forward to it. Just had my other hip done 8 months ago. Lot of time off work. Good luck with yours, and hopefully, it will be covered by the company recalling the liner.

Yes the cost of revision will be covered by Exactech.
I’m seeing the surgeon this Wednesday to see what the next step is .
